Since the bands conception in Orlando Florida 1999 Old Fashioned Beatdown have independently written, recorded, and toured without any label support putting out records to ep's with distribution through Hot Topic, Cd Warehouse, FYE, underground music shops, and the web.

Also through constant performing, Internet radio, college radio, FM radio, pirate radio, TV performances, and heavily promoted shows OFB have built a solid dedicated fan base creating a driven movement that the band describes as the FIST UNION.

In this time the band have also brought home Los Angeles's HardRock Band of the year at the 2006 RockCity Awards, Orlando Metal Band of the year 2003, and Woodzy guitarist of the year 2003 at the

Orlando Metal Awards. Gaining the respect of their piers OFB have also supported shows with bands such as Superjoint Ritual, Otep, Daath, Goatwhore, High on Fire, Sworn Enemy, E-Town Concrete, Slaves on Dope, Malevolent Creation, December, Skin Lab, Invitro, and many others.

Now residing in Los Angeles California OFB have had their sound compared to bands such as Pantera and Hatebreed. As the band is getting ready to release a new EP with a number of shows to follow the band is ready to take their vision to the next level from the street to the world.
